Patio Planter

Our patio planter has been designed for display on patio's, pathways and timber decking platforms. The 65mm wide support feet provide additional stability and a means of providing ground clearance. This prevents infestations of wood lice and cultures of worms normally associated with conventional planters in contact with the ground. In reality, despite a bad reputation, the damage to timber surfaces is mainly caused by excessive moisture trapped between the planter and the ground rather than the wood lice which feed primarily on decaying vegetation. Having the planter suspended on mounting feet minimizes the surface contact area and provides ventilation which eliminates the source of the problem.

The planters are also ideal for use inside conservatories when combined with with a planter holder which will prevent damage to carpets or other floor finishes in the event of over watering.
